WOED Distributes Hot Meals to Displaced Families in Taiz Governorate

As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts, Weybqa Al Athar for Education and Development (WOED) carried out a hot meal distribution initiative during August and September 2025, providing a total of 5,509 hot meals to displaced families in Taiz Governorate. The project was generously supported and funded by Al Athar Al Jameel Association in Turkey.

The initiative aimed to provide emergency food assistance to families who were forced to flee their homes due to the ongoing conflict, by offering nutritious and freshly prepared meals that help meet their essential daily needs.

Meal distributions were conducted across several districts, including Al-Ma’afer, Jabal Habashi, and Al-Qahirah, where displaced families are currently residing. Beneficiaries expressed their deep appreciation for this humanitarian gesture, emphasizing the importance of such support in easing their daily hardships.

WOED reaffirms its commitment to strengthening partnerships and expanding humanitarian interventions to address the needs of the most vulnerable communities across Yemen. The organization remains dedicated to delivering a lasting impact for those affected by the ongoing crisis.
